dejuan2DeJuan

What’s to be said about DeJuan? This San Diego native got involved with the tv/film industry at an early age reporting on his high school’s television news program. By the age of 16 he was already working for one of San Diego’s highest-rated television stations.. While working in San Diego, he covered sports and entertainment before deciding to move to Los Angeles. He earned his big break in 2007 when he attended the BET Awards in Los Angeles and interviewed everyone from Dr. Bobby Jones to Lauren London, just to name a few. After moving to Los Angles in Summer 2007, he has since then appeared in commercials, tv shows, and music videos. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from California State University Northridge. In his spare time, he’s known to hang out with friends, check out new restaurants, and work on various projects.

What’s on your iPod?
Dwele, Mya, Mint Condition, Kenny G, and a little bit of rap. Mostly Neo-Soul/R&B. Depends on what kind of mood I’m in at the time. Lately I’ve been getting into Jazz and Barry Manilow.

The perfect date is…?
Something simple. The best dates aren’t the most expensive ones, but the ones that have the most thought behind them. And that doesn’t mean you have to break the bank to put a smile on her face.

If you were not in TV/Film, what profession would you choose?
Believe it or not, I’d want to be a dentist. I’m actually thinking of going back to school for it.

What’s something that most people don’t know about you?
I’ve been to 12 states and 9 countries.

Dinner for 5, who would you invite? (Dead or alive)
Michael Jackson (I just want to sing songs at the dinner table), Oprah (I’m sure she has some advice I could use), President Barack Obama (tell him to loosen his tie and crack jokes with me), Mya (so I can propose to her at dinner), my grandmother (so she could see how far I’ve come).

jai2Jonnae

If you have seen Last Comic Standing, BET’s Coming to the Stage, and Def Comedy Jam.… She has never been on ANY of them. When Jonnae dropped out of pre-school, many people thought that she would not make it. But she picked up the pieces. From the mean streets of San Diego to the land of milk and honey, Los Angeles, Jonnae has been ripping stages. Whether she is singing, acting, or doing stand-up, she rocks the house. Growing up people would always tell Jonnae that she should consider stand-up, that was a joke to Jonnae. She wanted to be a doctor, Barbie, an Ice Cream truck driver, even Oprah. The world of Stand-Up called Jonnae in the Fall of 2007 through the Jimmy Kimmel College Comedy Competition. Prior to this competition, Jonnae had zero experience with stand- up comedy. Being the gangster that she is, she decided that would take a shot at it. Jonnae ended up being the runner-up for that competition and never considered comedy again. Until Myspace changed her life. One of the host of the Jimmy Kimmel Competition was a very funny comedian by the name of Vargus Mason. Jonnae and Vargus became friends on Myspace. Vargus thought Jonnae was funny. Vargus invited Jonnae to do a set at The Comedy Store. Reluctantly, she agreed to take the spot. On August 27, 2008 Jonnae Thompson experienced a feeling of comfort on that stage and felt like she had been doing it for years. Jonnae has been performing throughout some of the nation’s greatest comedy clubs ever since. Jonnae accredits all success to God almighty and knows that through him all things are possible. When life gives you lemons… JUST LAUGH!
